Faye Tozer signs up to Strictly Come Dancing?

Steps’ Faye Tozer has reportedly signed up to this year’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 42-year-old singer may have years of experience under her belt when it comes to performing, having previously starred on the West End, but that hasn’t stopped bosses of the ballroom and latin show from putting her on the line-up for 2018.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Few in the past have had quite so much professional performance time as Faye. Everyone expects her to be a strong contender but it will raise more questions over whether it’s fair for someone who has danced professionally to be up against people with no experience."
The news that Faye has been approached by producers will no doubt irritate her band mate Claire Richards recently said she’d love to hit the dance floor in the future.
She said: "If I was to do anything, I would love to do ‘Strictly’, it’s right up my street in terms of the lovely costumes and hair and make-up. It’s all very glam. It all looks amazing until you are in it and then it’s like, ‘Oh my god, what am I doing?’"
However, Claire believes she would find it challenging, despite Steps – completed by Lisa Scott-Lee, Lee Latchford-Evans and Ian ‘H’ Watkins – choreographing all of their routines, because she struggles dancing with someone else.
She said: "I can’t dance with a partner. Whenever we’ve done that I end up getting picked up and moved around because I’ve kind of got two left feet when it comes to trying to dance with a partner, so I probably am a ‘Strictly’ dream, but I don’t know.
"I definitely haven’t been asked, but it’s nice to be in the mix."
‘Strictly Come Dancing’ will return to screens next month as a new batch of celebrities attempt to master the fancy footwork in the hope of lifting the Glitterball Trophy.
