Emily Middlemas and Ryan Lawrie’s sex ban

Emily Middlemas and Ryan Lawrie are on a sex ban.
The ‘X Factor’ finalists have been dating for nearly a year but have put romance on the back-burner in order to focus on their careers and strengthen their future relationship.
Emily told The Sun: "Me and Ryan are 100% focused on the music right now. We’ll put music first and grab that career, we want to make sure we’re stable, we’ve got money and that kind of stuff."
But Emily, 18, admitted she and Ryan, 20, don’t get to spend much quality time together in the ‘X Factor’ house anyway.
She added: "To be honest we don’t see each other a lot at the moment and when we do everyone is around us watching a movie or something.
"Maybe five minutes before bed we’ll have a chat about what we’ve done or if we’re feeling bad about anything. So it’s hard to do anything with each other. I guess it makes us stronger."
But the teenage hopeful is thankful that Ryan is so close to her.
She said: "He knows me inside out. I’d be a little bit lost if I didn’t have him."
Emily recently laughed off reports she and Ryan have been having sex on the staircase of the house they share with the rest of the hopefuls, insisting it would be impossible even if they wanted to because they are constantly under the watch of security guards.
She said: "It’s one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever heard.
"We would never do that… We can laugh it off because if you saw the house you would be laughing as well. The security guards stand at the bottom of the stairs.
"You can see the whole house from the staircase. When we sit there to talk, we talk to the security too. The guards stay up all night in the corridor, so we wouldn’t do that anyway. But I mean, it’s impossible.
"If we’re lucky, we can steal a kiss for a minute but that’s as far as it can go."
