Elastica to make a comeback?

Elastica are believed to be making a music comeback.
The British indie rockers could be set to reform as they have been in the studio together in London working on a new project.
Abbey Road Studios’ mastering engineer Sean Magee took to his Twitter account to reveal he had been working with some members of the group and had "cut a record" with them.
His tweet read: "Cut a record for Elastica today, they hadn’t seen each other for 20yrs. It’s great to be there when moments like that happen. (sic)"
A number of pictures from the studio have also emerged on social media of the band without singer Justine Frischmann – who famously was in a relationship with Blur frontman Damon Albarn.
The band split up in 2001 after two albums, 1995’s indie classic ‘Elastica’ and 2000’s ‘The Menace’, and despite their low output are considered to be among the pioneers of Britpop.
And although it is yet to be confirmed if the group will be releasing new music or working on other stuff, it doesn’t look as though Justine will be returning to the band after she previously revealed making music felt like a "rollercoaster" to her.
Since the split, Justine, 47, has retreated from the public spotlight and has been creating art, only returning to music in 2003 to co-write two songs for her former flatmate M.I.A. for her debut LP ‘Arular’, which was eventually released in 2005.
She previously said: "I really feel I’ve found my medium [with painting]. Also I think I’m a socially anxious person. I kind of deal with it but actually I’m really happy on my own. When I’m in the studio and things are unfolding and exciting I have that feeling that I’m exactly where I’m meant to be. I don’t think I ever really had that with music, it always felt like a rollercoaster ride and there was going to be a horrible smash."
