Ed Sheeran to star on Big Narstie’s new chat show

Ed Sheeran is set to appear on Big Narstie’s new chat show on Friday (29.06.18).
The 27-year-old pop star is a close friend of the grime artist, and Ed – who recently finished the UK leg of his world tour – has agreed to a sit-down interview for ‘The Big Narstie Show’ on Channel 4.
The musical duo have known each other for years, and they previously starred alongside Example on a one-off episode of ‘Gogglebox’.
Narstie – whose real name is Tyrone Lindo – is co-presenting the six-part series with Mo Gilligan, and he has teased what fans can expect from the show.
He said: "We’ve got all different kinds of guests coming up. We’ve got Ed Sheeran coming on and then loads of surprises. It’s like a Kinder surprise – you’ve got to crack into it to get the surprise."
Mo also revealed he’ll be doing his best to keep Narstie under control.
However, he thinks it’s important that Narstie’s larger-than-life personality is allowed to come to the fore.
Mo explained: "My job is to make sure that it runs smoothly at times you know. It’s a good job to have because I think we need Narstie to be himself you know, it wouldn’t be a show if we restricted him and that’s what makes him.
"He’s 100 percent himself; he’s funny, charming and just completely himself and I think that’s what TV is missing sometimes."
And Narstie promised that the new show will be unlike anything previously broadcast on UK TV.
He said: "It’s going to be the real world on TV for the first time."
