Duke Dumont ‘respects’ Calvin Harris

Duke Dumont has a lot of "respect" for Calvin Harris.
The 35-year-old DJ is set to perform on the main stage Creamfields music festival in Cheshire, North West England, and feels very privileged to play alongside the ‘This Is What You Came For’ hitmaker.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, Duke – whose real name is Adam George Dyment – said: "You can’t really put your finger on it but sometimes there’s just a really good vibe to a place and sometimes there’s not so much. So for me I love the fact that I can go and play at a stage in America to 20,000 people and even Creamfields this year I’m playing the main stage with Calvin Harris.
"Its’ going to be a good one, I’ve got a lot of respect for Calvin."
And the ‘Need U’ hitmaker plans on playing all his smash hits because that’s what he thinks festival-goers want to hear rather than new stuff.
He explained: "Essentially that’s why people are going to come to the festivals and see that because they want to hear their big songs and hits.
"I try to do the same thing. I fully understand if people come to a big festival to see me play then they’re coming to hear certain songs that I’ve made and I go to the effort of changing those songs a little bit, mixing it up and paying a different version and just doing that and that’s why I’ve gotten a lot of respect for him."
Duke Dumont will be performing at this years Creamfields UK festival on August Bank holiday weekend, for tickets and info go to www.creamfields.com
