Duchess Meghan estranged half-brother steals from royal family in new beer advert

Duchess Meghan’s estranged half-brother is seen stealing from the royal family in an advertisement for a beer company.
Thomas Markle Jr. – who is related to the Duchess of Sussex through their shared father Thomas Markle – appears in a 30 second commercial for the Queens-based wholesaler, Classic New York Beer.
In the clip, Thomas is seen wearing an all-black outfit as he burgles "Buckingham Palace" before nabbing Queen Elizabeth II’s crown as well as some of the beer from a special cabinet.
The company’s CEO, Billie Mitchell, told the New York Post’s Page Six column that a royal guard runs into the scene and yells, "Drop everything!", to which Thomas drops the crown but tries to keep hold of the beer, only then for the guard to snatch a bottle and start drinking it himself.
The advertisement also features the Duchess of Sussex – played by actress Renee Wood – who is wearing a tiara and jewels as she awaits her brother, who she has seemingly co-conspired with.
Once back in the getaway car, Duchess Meghan’s characters asks whether "he was able to grab the jewels", but he tells her he got something better and pulls out the bottles of beer, to which she says: "Priceless!"
The advert comes soon after Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan were deemed to be "bruised and vulnerable".
Tom Bradby, who interviewed the pair for a recent documentary ‘Harry & Meghan: An African Journey’, said: "I knew that everything wasn’t entirely rosy behind the scenes, that’s true. But all the same, I had intended to turn up, probably doing a more conventional journalistic job.
"The reality I found was a couple that seemed just a bit bruised and vulnerable. I knew that things weren’t entirely brilliant behind the scenes. It built as the tour went on really."
