Drake’s tour bus thief is a homeless janitor

The suspect accused of stealing jewellery from Drake’s tour bus is a homeless janitor.
The 29-year-old rapper had his tour bus broken into whilst he was performing at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona, on Tuesday (06.09.16) as part of his ‘Summer Sixteen Tour’ with Future.
On Wednesday (07.09.16), a man named Travion King was arrested on suspicion of the theft after he was caught trespassing on the college’s Tempe campus and was allegedly found with the stolen goods which reportedly belonged to the ‘One Dance’ hitmaker’s DJ, Future the Prince.
Court documents released on Thursday (08.09.16) listed the 21-year-old’s address as a homeless shelter in Phoenix and also stated that he works for a company that cleaning services for large facilities.
The news of Travion’s occupation comes after Phoenix Police discovered that the crime was committed by someone who knew the layout of the building, and revealed that Travion had "done contract work for the venue in the past".
Sergeant Vince Lewis said: "We’re talking about somebody who knew the layout or was able to gain access or to get back there unnoticed."
Police reports originally stated that the stolen items – which have now been recovered – were worth $3 million (£2.2 million), but the court documents state that the victim estimates the value at around $400,00 (£300,738).
The news of the arrest comes after the ‘Hotline Bling’ rapper – who is in a relationship with Rihanna – announced he plans to open a "classy" strip club in Houston called The Ballet.
