Donna Air suffers nasty fall

Donna Air has suffered a nasty fall while training for ‘Dancing on Ice’.
The 38-year-old star hasn’t had the best of luck recently as not only has had her skates stolen – meaning she’s got just four days to break in a pair of new blades – but she also face-planted into the ice yesterday (09.01.18) while rehearsing for her weekend performance with her professional partner Mark Hanretty.
According to The Sun Online, the blonde socialite was attempting to practice a tricky lift with Mark when she lost her footing and crashed face first into the floor.
Despite the clonk in which she hit the rink, Donna took it in her stride as she was photographed giggling with her hand over her mouth while attempting to stand up.
But the actress certainly has an excuse for the fall as she’s been forced to wear in a pair of new blades because the ones she’s been training in for the past three months – and have molded to her feet – were robbed from her car earlier this week.
Donna and her fellow competitors started a social media appeal #findDonnasskates
in a bid to get the boots back in time for her routine on Sunday (14.01.18) and she even enlisted the help of the police – offering a reward to anyone who returns them.
She wrote: "@metpoliceuk reward for anyone who FINDS my skates . I’m sure the thief would have dumped them somewhere as of no use to anyone but me ! moulded to my feet and impossible to replace for Sunday (sic)"
But Donna and Mark realised last night that they probably weren’t going to be reunited with the blades and were forced to buy a new pair for the competition.
Mark said "Thanks for everyone’s help trying to #findDonnasskates She has a brand spanking new pair which she will work hard to break in for Sunday! @dancingonice."
