Doctor Who launching multi-platform story

‘Doctor Who’ is launching a multi-platform story later this year.
The upcoming tale is called ‘Time Lord Victorious’ and features the Eighth, Ninth and Tenth Doctors – who were played by Paul McGann, Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant respectively on the BBC sci-fi favourite – alongside Billie Piper’s Rose Tyler.
The new and untold story is set within the Dark Times at the start of the universe, and the unique project will bring together the likes of Penguin Random House, Doctor Who Magazine, Titan Comics, Escape Hunt and Big Finish Productions.
Also part of the exciting collaborative effort will be Eaglemoss Hero Collector, Immersive Everywhere, Maze Theory, BBC Books and BBC Audio as the tale spans several mediums.
The project will feature products and experiences across a range of platforms as several Doctors travel across space and time to defend their home planet from a terrible race.
Producer James Goss said: "BBC Studios’ ‘Doctor Who’ licensees have come together to tell an amazing epic – one that’s full of monsters, fun and heart.
"All strands of the story unite into a mighty patchwork that ranges from one end of the universe to the next.
"There’s more to be revealed, but the enthusiasm and ideas which the licensees have come up with are breath-taking. It’s going to be such fun."
More details about the 12-week story – which will also feature monsters including the Daleks and the Ood – are available on DoctorWho.TV.
The site which also feature a timeline of product releases as and when the products are announced, and there will be plenty of information unveiled over the coming months.
