David Schwimmer loves The Great British Bake Off

David Schwimmer loves ‘The Great British Bake Off’.
The ‘Friends’ legend – who portrayed Ross Geller on the US sitcom – has declared himself a huge fan of the Channel 4 baking programme and said he loves of "lovely" the "competitive" contestants are with one another.
He told the latest issue of Radio Times magazine: "I love it. "There’s such a good spirit on that show.
"It’s competitive, but everyone’s so lovely with each other."
The 53-year-old actor then quipped: "It’s so not American!"
David – who is currently starring in Sky One’s comedy series ‘Intelligence’ as NSA agent Jerry Bernstein – also admitted he cannot stand food spread Marmite, which is made from yeast extract.
He said: "That is still completely perplexing to me. I’ve tried it and I really want to understand it.
"How is that still a thing?"
The comedy star also admitted he feels people have become to self-obsessed as they feel the need to share online every detail of their lives.
He explained to the publication: "I don’t have a lot of thoughts, really.
"I just don’t have a lot of interest in posting a lot.
"I guess I have a natural aversion to how obsessed people are with themselves today.
"I don’t think it’s really healthy, to be honest, that everyone is growing up believing that everything they do, everything they think and everything they eat needs to be shared.
"I think it’s quite presumptuous, actually."
Meanwhile, it was recently reported that Warner Bros. are closing in on a deal for a one-off ‘Friends’ special for HBO.
David, Jennifer Aniston (Rachel Green) Matt LeBlanc (Joey Tribbiani), Courtney Cox (Monica Gellar), Matthew Perry (Chandler Bing) and Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe Buffay) are all expected to be involved.
HBO Max bought the rights to all 10 seasons of the show for its streaming service which launches in April.
