Danny Dyer vows to stop swearing

Danny Dyer is trying to stop swearing for fear of accidentally blurting out expletives in his West End play.
The ‘EastEnders’ actor is to appear in Harold Pinter production ‘The Dumb Waiter’ alongside Martin Freeman, and the 40-year-old star is said to have got himself a swear jar to help himself cut down on cursing before he treads the boards.
He said: "I’m trying to cut out naughty words."
While Danny admits he is making progress when it comes to chopping out profanities from his vocabulary, he still has a "long way to go".
He is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper: "I’m doing good although I’ve got a long way to go until January."
Danny revealed in January 2017 that his New Year’s resolution was to clean out his potty mouth – and cursed while explaining his intentions.
He said: "I think it’s b******s to be honest.
"I’ve basically spunked all my f***ing wages for this."
In 2015, Danny reportedly swore almost 50 times in 25 minutes while filming ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’.
He said: "I’ve had a lot of aggravation, especially talking about the Royal Family. Sometimes I use the word ****. It’s not an aggressive thing.
"I said, ‘I quite like William, at least he can fly a helicopter, the ****’. That’s not a bad thing. I like William, he’s a nice fella.
"Where I come from in the East End, it’s what people say. I’ve been brought up by women who love that word. My nan calls me a little ****. It’s a word of endearment. She uses the word all the time. My mum uses the word."
In 2014, it was reported Danny had been banned from uttering the F-word during filming on ‘EastEnders’.
A show source said at the time: "Danny is much loved by everyone on set but the bad language is not an act.
"It’s become so much a part of his vocab that he slips back into it all the time."
