Danny Baker: I have no phobias

Danny Baker says he has "no phobias" heading into ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’
The 59-year-old broadcaster will join the Australian jungle-based show on Thursday night (17.11.16), and while he admits it would be "foolhardy" to try to plan ahead, he isn’t scared of anything the show might throw at him.
Speaking shortly before entering the jungle, the radio host said: "It would be foolhardy to think there is something you can do. If you prepare for blue, they will give you red!
"And the shocking thing is I don’t have any phobias! Being buried underground with cockroaches falling over you is not something that crosses your mind or you have experience of! I am just going to let it happen like a hurricane."
While Danny might not have any phobias, he admits he won’t be able to tolerate it if his fellow camp mates talk about "going to the toilet".
He said: "I hate it when people talk about going to the toilet. I find it toe-curlingly juvenile. I am pretty intolerant of that childish babble."
Danny – who has three children, Mancie, Bonnie, and Sonny, with wife Wendy – said he wants to get picked for the harrowing Bushtucker Trials, as he thinks he’ll be bored if he doesn’t.
He added: "That would be the greatest trial of all if you don’t get picked. For the sake of pure boredom, you should embrace them."
The TV presenter – who is a new addition to the camp alongside Martin Roberts – will be joining Larry Lamb, Carol Vorderman, Adam Thomas, Sam Quek, Wayne Bridge, Joel Dommett, Scarlett Moffatt, Ola Jordan, Lisa Snowdon and Jordan Banjo, who entered the infamous jungle last weekend, and isn’t worried about getting sent home first.
He said: "If I am the first out, well the upside is I get a flute of champagne."
