Courtney Wood and Alana Spencer make Apprentice final

Courtney Wood and Alana Spencer have made it through to the ‘Apprentice’ final.
The business hunk and the cake maker are set to go head-to-head this weekend after Lord Sugar decided to take them through to the last round of the competition following their success in the interview stage of the show in Thursday (15.12.16) night’s show.
After spending hours being grilled by Lord Sugar’s trusty staff on their business plans, their performances in the competition thus far and their personalities, the tycoon decided to fire Grainne McCoy because he didn’t think her make up business had any depth and she had too many ideas with little information and facts to back it up.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz, the brunette beauty – who’s from Northern Ireland – said: "I’m taking everything they said on board and I’m just focusing on my brand now and creating a make up brand – that’s my plan. But, obviously, for me to do that, I need to create a profile for myself as well and I’ve got the platform now to continue with that."
Jessica Cunningham was the second contestant to get the boot because Lord Sugar was worried she’d have too many outgoings and not enough incomes because she had to rely on celebrities – who’d she pay thousands – to promote her fashion brand.
But that hasn’t stopped the bubbly babe from progressing with her business as she’d like to release a line of lingerie in time for Valentine’s Day (14.02.17).
She explained: "I’m gutted, I thought I was going to win. I’ve got a business at the moment but now we’re bringing out lingerie in January. We’ve got a lot of exciting things happening and bad things happen in life but you just have to get on with it."
Frances Bishop was the third and final contestant to be eliminated from show because Lord Sugar was worried about the fact she said she runs her company, which buys batches of last season’s stock and sells them for cheaper, from her handbag.
She explained: "I was gutted. That decision actually took Lord Sugar an hour and a half. We were waiting ages to find out who had got through to the final. To be honest, that was just a throw away comment I made in the interview stages at the beginning. Obviously now I’ve learnt a lot and I’d never say that. He knows how organised I am."
Courtney and Alana will now battle it out to bag Lord Sugar’s £250,000 investment.
