Courtney Love slams ‘Big Brother’ rival Ann Widdecombe

Courtney Act never thought she would win ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ – but she’s glad she did over Ann Widdecombe because she doesn’t think she represents women.
The 36-year-old reality TV star – who was born a man but dresses up as the blonde bombshell – was shocked when she found out she’d won the series – named ‘Year of the Woman’ – but is glad she knocked the politician out of the competition.
Speaking to Attitude magazine, the drag queen said: "I never thought that I was going to win. Not that I thought I should win, because I thought a woman should win Year of the Woman… But given what I think women are about in 2018, I don’t reckon Ann represents that. Not that I am a woman, but I am a feminist… Brexit happened. Donald Trump is president. If Ann Widdecombe won CBB Year of the Woman, it would be the third sign of the Apocalypse. We’d be sitting here waiting for the fourth, thinking maybe Ann’s God does exist and is coming for the judgment day!"
While she was in the house, Courtney – whose real name is real name Shane Gilberto Jenek – grew close to fellow housemate Andrew Brady and, although nothing come out of it in the end, she has admitted she’s dated both men and women in the past.
She said: "Well, I’ve had relationships – both sexual and emotional -with straight-identifying men. There’s something problematic with this idea that straight men can be ‘turned’, and the binary of gay and straight and the lack of knowledge of the Kinsey scale. There is a boy I dated for six months who’d never been with boys, had only been with girls. We met, I was in drag, we had a sexual encounter.
"I got out of drag, we continued the sexual encounter and we ended up dating. He was from Dayton, Ohio, and an Abercrombie & Fitch catalogue model and then when we broke up he went back to dating girls. He said, ‘I was just attracted to you, I’m not attracted to other men’."
