Corrie spoilers: Shona Ramsey held hostage by killer son Clayton Hibbs

Shona Ramsey will be held hostage by her killer son Clayton Hibbs.
In highly anticipated ‘Coronation Street’ scenes set to air next week, Julia Goulding’s alter ego will be fearing for her life when her son – played by Callum Harrison – threatens to kill her after escaping from his prison guard.
In an official preview for the soap, it has been revealed that Clayton will be allowed out of prison for the day to attend his father Dane’s funeral, and Shona will be there to check up on her son.
Clayton’s half-brother Macca warns her that she’s not welcome, and reminds her that her son wants nothing to do with her.
However, things quickly take a different turn at the graveyard when Macca attacks the killer’s prison guard, and lets him escape.
A preview shared on the official ‘Corrie’ page confirms Shona will be at the middle of the drama next week, firstly when she’s seen stealing £3,000 from her own partner David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd).
Clayton later turns against his mum, holding her hostage in a secret hideout.
With police surrounding the area, David is horrified as the killer – who murdered his ex-wife Kylie three years ago – emerges holding a knife to Shona and making his demands.
The tense scenes will air as part of an hour long episode being broadcast on Friday, March 1 at 7.30pm on ITV.
