Coronation Street’s Kylie Platt to die in David’s arms

‘Coronation Street’s Kylie Platt is set to die in her heartbroken husband David’s arms on Friday (15.07.16).
The nail technician’s final moments have been kept tightly under wraps for the past five months but it has now been revealed the brunette beauty – portrayed by Paula Lane – will take her last breath on the cobbled street while her distraught lover (Jack P. Shepherd) cradles her in his arms.
In a series of sneak peek shots released by ITV, the handsome hairdresser can be seen sprinting towards his frail wife lying in the road before he wraps his arms around her, props her lifeless head on his shoulders, and kisses her face.
Although it’s known how the gobby babe will take her final breath in tonight’s show, the incident leading up to her death and what caused her to lose her life is yet to be revealed.
However, Jack – who has portrayed David for the last 16 years – has warned fans to get their tissues at the ready because Kylie’s tragic death will be a huge tearjerker.
He said recently: "She [Paula] will be missed, not because she’s Paula, because David and Kylie have this strong relationship and filming the scenes when she does die, me and Paula were crying all the way through and we physically couldn’t stop. They’re so harrowing."
Meanwhile, Paula, who has played the feisty beauty for six years, announced she was leaving the show in February in order to have her second child with her husband Tom Shaw.
