Chelsee Healey still finding ‘feet’ in Hollyoaks

Chelsee Healey is still "finding her feet’ in ‘Hollyoaks’.
The 28-year-old actress will bound onto screens as Goldie McQueen this month after months of shooting her arrival but she has admitted, despite her experience in ‘Waterloo Road’ and ‘Casualty’, she’s still trying to settle in with the cast.
Speaking to Inside Soap magazine, she said: "I’ve never actually done a soap before – only dramas – so I’m still finding my feet and really enjoying it.
"I think Goldie and Janeece [Chelsee’s character in ‘Waterloo Road’] are quit similar, but Goldie’s a lot more eccentric. I like playing Honey in ‘Casualty’ because she was so ditzy. I loved both jobs and still remember them fondly."
The brunette beauty found out she’d landed the role earlier this year but was even more "made up" when she learnt she was join the famous fictional family alongside Jennifer Metcalfe.
She explained to the publication: "I was made up! I was happy enough to get the part in ‘Hollyoaks’ but when they told me I was a new McQueen I was so glad.
"They’re a massive part of the show, and Jen [who plays Mercedes] and Nicole Barber-Lane [Myra] have made me feel right at home. I wouldn’t have wanted to join as anyone but a McQueen."
