Charles Venn suffers health anxiety

Charles Venn suffers from health anxiety.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star has opened up about experiencing the feeling, in which someone spends an unusual amount of time worrying that they’re ill, and the phobia has left him thinking he is "going to die" at times.
He said: "It sounds ludicrous, but when you have health anxiety you honestly fear the worst.
"Fortunately, I’m feeling on top of it now. It doesn’t happen as much and if I’m feeling a sense of it then I breathe and calm myself down."
But the ‘Casualty’ actor has been inspired to speak out about his anxiety after hearing Prince Harry talk about mental health.
He added to The Sun’s Bizarre TV column: "It’s something that I’ve had since I was young.
"I felt that there’s a responsibility for me to talk about that more so now cause there are a number of people like Prince Harry talking about mental health."
Last month, the prince opened up about his own struggles with mental health.
Speaking at the Invictus Games closing ceremony, he said: "By simply being here and fighting back from some of the darkest experiences known to anyone, you have become role models for everyone at home or in the stands who might be struggling with their emotions or with a mental illness … You are showing it’s okay not to be OK.
"And most importantly, you are showing us all that it’s okay to ask for help. I’ve been there, you’ve been there, and we now need to reach out to those who can never even imagine themselves in that place.
"When you accept a challenge is real, you can have hope. When you understand your vulnerability, you can become strong. When you are brave enough to ask for help, you can be lifted up. You can start living, doing, feeling – not simply surviving."
