Central Cee unveiled as third Boardmasters headliner

Central Cee will headline this year’s Boardmasters festival.

The 26-year-old rapper will play his first ever major UK headline show at the annualevent in Cornwall, which takes place from 6 to 10 August 2025 across two picturesque sites – Watergate Bay and Fistral Beach.

Announcing the new headliner, Boardmasters said: “Fresh off the hype surrounding his hugely anticipated upcoming album ‘Can’t Rush Greatness’, the West London chart-topper promises an unforgettable set filled with fan-favorite hits like Sprinter, Doja and Day in the Life. With multiple platinum certifications, a slew of awards wins, not to mention a reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting musical exports, Central Cee continues to redefine the sound of modern hip-hop. Fans at Boardmasters can expect a high-energy showcase that firmly cements his place at the forefront of the global rap scene.”

The ‘Loading’ hitmaker was one of a number of new names announced to be heading to the festival this year, with over 30 other acts added to the bill, including The Wombats, Sub Focus, Flo, Leigh-Anne, Krept + Konan, The Blessed Madonna, and Maverick Sabre.

They join previously-announced headliners The Prodigy and Raye, as well as the likes of London Grammar, Maribou State, Wet Leg, Nelly Furtado, Kaiser Chiefs, Myles, Smith, Franz Ferdinand, Rizzle Kicks and Natasha Bedingfield.

Beyond music, the festival gives fans the chance to take up surf lessons, coasteering, kayaking tours and bodyboard lessons.

There is also Zennor Haven – billed as the “perfect place for mindfulness”, with sound baths, wellness discussions and panel talks, massages and workshops, and Muscle Beach, an outdoor gym in the campsites that also features DJs and daily challenges.

In the main arena, there’s attractions beyond music including karaoke, bingo, and movie screenings, while the festival also hosts the Boardmasters OPEN, where festival-goers can see some pro surfers in action.

Tickets for Boardmasters 2025 are on sale now at www.boardmasters.com.
