Carey Hart is "beyond proud" of his wife Pink’s Super Bowl performance.
The ‘Just Give Me A Reason’ hitmaker overcame her illness to belt out the national anthem at the sporting event in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Sunday night (04.02.18) and her husband – who was pitch side to watch her performance – couldn’t have been more proud.
Alongside a photo of Pink with the couple’s daughter Willow, six, he wrote on Instagram: "I am beyond proud of this woman. The roller coaster that she went through this last week with getting sick and losing her voice would have broke any ordinary person. She laced up her boots, got through a 90 minute set Friday night, and f***ing killed the super bowl today. Oh and sang live by the way. She is the hardest working in show business and i couldn’t be more proud of her. You f***ing rule, baby @pink (sic)"
And Pink later took to her own social media account to congratulate Justin Timberlake on his half-time performance.
Posting a shot of the stadium all lit up, she captioned it: "Get it @justintimberlake … I’ve been opening for you since I started lol and I’m not even mad (sic)"
The 38-year-old singer – who also has Jameson, 13 months – had previously taken to Instagram to reveal it was her kids who made her ill.
She wrote on Instagram: "Trying to practice the flu away. I’ve been waiting to sing this song since 1991 when I saw my idol, Whitney Houston, own this song. And now, my chance has finally come. And it just so happens that this chance comes when I have two small Petri dish kids who literally cough INTO MY MOUTH and rub their snot on my cheek. You can’t write this stuff I swear!

I will tell you, this is one of the biggest honors of my life, singing this song in front of my family, my military family, my dad and brother and step mama and family and the world.
