Caitriona Balfe used a very big awards ceremony to announce her engagement.
The 38-year-old actress revealed at the Golden Globe awards – at which she was nominated for Best Actress in a TV Series, Drama for her role in ‘Outlander’ – that her partner Tony McGill had popped the question late last year and she’s thrilled to be planning her wedding.
She told People: ‘It happened over the break. I’m very happy.’
