Britney Spears won’t listen to her own music

Britney Spears won’t listen to her own music.
The ‘Make Me’ hitmaker tries to never playback her own songs but relies on her sons – Sean, 10, and Jayden, nine – and her nieces to give her their verdict.
She told Flaunt magazine: "It’s funny, because I don’t really listen to my music. My kids do and my nieces do. I’m about the creative process. I’m in the moment of being creative and then I put it out there. Of course, I sing my songs every night [at my residency] and I have to listen to it that way, but I’m all about change. And new. And forthcoming.
"But, there is a part of me in my music and I hope, for my fans, that they can have that part of me when they hear me on the radio, or buy my CD, or whatever they do."
Meanwhile, the 34-year-old singer previously revealed her new album is "very chill."
She said: "It’s very exciting. I’ve been working on this project for a year and a half now, almost two years so it really means a lot to me. It’s my baby.
"It’s a little melodic, a little more not so poppy. It’s kind of chill. Very chill. I’m old school. I like classic rock. I like the Rolling Stones. The Lumineers are really cool. Sade is nice. I like 80s music, too."
And Britney recently described her new music as like a "baby" to her.
She added: "I just know that the direction I’m going in is so good. It’s the best thing I’ve done in a long time. I’m just particular with this record – it’s my baby. I’m proud of the work, and it’s very different.
"It’s not what you would think at all. I’m not rushing anything. I would much rather have it be completely how I want it to be. I just want it to be done right so that my fans will truly appreciate it."
