Britney Spears to perform at 2016 BIllboard Music Awards?

Britney Spears is being lined-up to perform at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards.
The ‘Piece of Me’ hitmaker – who performed with Iggy Azalea at last year’s ceremony – could be set to perform on May 22 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas as the show’s producers are eager to get the pop beauty to make a massive comeback on the night.
A source close to the bash, revealed: "Everyone knows Britney brings in massive ratings, so it was a no-brainer for producers to try and get her on board."
It would be ideal timing for the 34-year-old star to perform with her new single ‘Make Me (Oooh)’ expected to drop two days before on May 20.
The insider told the Daily Star newspaper: "With her new single dropping a couple of days before the show timing couldn’t be more perfect.
"She is in the best shape of her life so the performance is set to be a massive return to the top."
Meanwhile, fans can expect the single, from Britney’s follow-up to 2013’s ‘Britney Jean’ LP, to be "somewhat unexpected".
A source previously revealed: "The concept for the video is all set. The single and the video will thrill fans because it’s all new, totally different and somewhat unexpected.
"It’s different; it’s a turn. She’s gone from pretty straight-forward pop to a really interesting vibe with a lot of really cool stuff."
And it is also thought Britney will release her new studio album four weeks after the release of her single.
