Britney Spears ‘explores new things’ on album

Britney Spears’ new album "explores some new things" and will be released "very soon".
The 34-year-old pop superstar took to Tumblr to answer fans’ questions, many of which revolved around her much anticipated ninth album.
The record will be her first since 2013’s ‘Britney Jean’, and fans are keen to know when they can get their hands on the LP.
And Britney promised them: "Soon … Very soon!"
One fan pressed the star for more details of the forthcoming release, and the ‘Gimme More’ hitmaker teased: "I’ll just say this … We really explored some new things."
Britney dropped the first single ‘Make Me’ on 15 July, and it debuted at number 17 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, becoming her 34th Hot 100 entry and her sixth-highest charting debut tying with her first ever track "…Baby One More Time" released back in 1998.
The singer was also asked what her favourite tracks on the album are, but she remained coy unwilling to give too much away.
She said: "Hard to say – I love them all! One of my favorites of course is ‘Make Me’, which is why it’s the first single. (sic)"
‘Make Me’ featured rapper G-Eazy, and Britney praised his contribution to the song.
She said: "He’s such an amazing talent. It was fun! His rap really took the song to a new level."
Britney also revealed the theme of her next video, posting: "There’s lots of female empowerment. Lol. (sic)"
She signed off from the Tumblr Q&A session by writing: "Thank you for these awesome questions, everyone!! Gotta get going now I love you all SO SO much xoxo. (sic)"
The album, which is reportedly called ‘B9’, is expected to be released later this year.
