Bobby Cannavale to join Melissa McCarthy in Super Intelligence

Bobby Cannavale is set to join Melissa McCarthy in new film ‘Super Intelligence’.
The ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’ star will play Melissa’s love interest in New Line’s action comedy, which is being directed by Melissa’s husband Ben Falcone.
The movie is based on a script written by Steve Mallory, and will be released over Christmas in 2019.
‘Bridesmaids’ star Melissa will portray a former corporate executive ‘Carol’ who is missing something in her life.
Her world is turned upside down when she’s selected for observation by the world’s first super-intelligence – an artificial intelligence that may or may not take over the world.
Bobby, 48, and Melissa, 47, have previously worked together on the 2015 comedy hit ‘Spy’ and he will return to the on screen friendship playing Carol’s ex-boyfriend who comes back into her life.
Bobby has had a very successful few years, with numerous films being made in 2017.
It has been a busy time for the actor recently; he played the villain in the blockbuster ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’, which opened a few weeks after the acclaimed Tonya Harding drama ‘I, Tonya’, in which he played a well-coiffed Hard Copy reporter.
‘Super Intelligence’ will also feature James Corden and although the British TV personality has become famous for hosting ‘The Late Late Show’ in recent years he is still maintaining his acting career and most recently appeared in the ‘Peter Rabbit’ and ‘Ocean’s 8’ movies.
