Billie Eilish releases Bond theme

Billie Eilish has released ‘No Time To Die’, the theme song for the upcoming James Bond movie of the same name.
The 18-year-old singer was named earlier this year as the artist to have bagged the coveted track, and on Thursday (13.02.20), the star officially unveiled the audio for ‘No Time To Die’, which will accompany the opening credits of the upcoming James Bond film, set to be released in April.
Billie is the youngest musician ever to write and record the theme song for a Bond movie, which she worked on alongside her brother and producer Finneas O’Connell.
‘No Time To Die’ incorporates the traditional 007 theme, and features special guests Hans Zimmer – who provides the orchestral arrangements – and guitarist Johnny Marr.
Bond producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said in a statement: "Billie and Finneas have written an incredibly powerful and moving song for ‘No Time To Die,’ which has been impeccably crafted to work within the emotional story of the film.
"There are a chosen few who record a Bond theme. I am a huge fan of Billie and Finneas. Their creative integrity and talent are second to none, and I cannot wait for audiences to hear what they’ve brought – a fresh new perspective whose vocals will echo for generations to come."
And in her own statement, Billie said: "It feels crazy to be a part of this in every way. To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honour. James Bond is the coolest film franchise ever to exist. I’m still in shock."
The Grammy Award-winning singer will perform the song live during the BRIT Awards on February 18.
‘No Time To Die’ the film will mark Daniel Craig’s fifth and final outing as the suave spy, and hits cinemas in early April.
