Ben Affleck praises ‘superhero’ Jennifer Garner

Ben Affleck has praised "superhero mom" Jennifer Garner.
The ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ actor feels "really lucky" to have his ex-wife – who he split from last July after 10 years of marriage – as his "partner" in raising their three children, Violet, 10, Seraphina, seven, and Samuel, four.
He gushed: "You know, I just marvel at my mother who did a great job of raising my brother and I. Parenting is hard work but it’s so rewarding and I certainly do my best.
"Jen is a superhero mom. She is an amazing mother and I’m really lucky to have her as a partner to co-parent these kids with. We try our best, we put them first and that’s what we do."
Though Ben recently donned his Batsuit for Samuel’s birthday party, the 42-year-old actor admitted he doesn’t know if he will let him see the movie.
He told E! News: "Well, he can see some of it. I don’t know… It just depends. Every kid is different.
"Like I don’t know if he would be scared seeing me, like if he would think it was really me getting thrown around and crashed and hurt. I don’t know if he could know the difference. So, we’ll see. I’ll warm him up.
"In time. When he learns to differentiate between the fact that it’s not, that I’m not really getting beat up on camera. It’s pretend, you know."
