Belle Hassan: Anton Danyluk forgot about me

Belle Hassan says Anton Danyluk "forgot about" her after leaving the ‘Love Island’ villa.
The couple met on the ITV2 reality show and split recently after just five weeks outside of the villa, and Belle has now said she believes Anton "got caught up" with his newfound fame and was more interested in "going out" than spending time with her.
She said: "He just got caught up with everything, like fame and going out. He wanted to party, party, party and I think he just forgot about me a little bit. That’s fine, I understand that.
"It’s hard because he’s going to all these clubs where girls are screaming ‘I love you’ at him.
"It’s going to give you an ego-boost and make you think you’re the man.
"It must be overwhelming. We don’t want to put pressure on each other so we said let’s put a hold on it and see how things go."
But since calling time on their romance, 21-year-old Belle insists they’re actually closer than ever, and now speak every day as friends.
She added: "We probably speak more than we ever did.
"I think it’s because there’s no pressure. We can just get on how we did before.
"We’re friends and talk every day, he’ll ring me up to see how I’m doing."
Belle – who is the daughter of Tamer Hassan – still has "so much love and respect" for the gym owner, and says they could even rekindle their romance when their schedules "die down".
Speaking to The Sun Online, she said: "I have so much love and respect for Anton.
"He’s helped change my life and we’ve gone through so much together.
"Maybe when our schedules die down there will be something there. You never know. Everything’s such a whirlwind.
"We said let’s wait and see what happens in a couple of months. I will never say never, because when people do and then they get back with them they always look like a k**b.
"I wish him nothing but happiness."
