Becky Hill’s new stage surprise

Becky Hill has been training as an acrobat for her new tour.

The 31-year-old singer has taken up aerial rope classes as a new hobby and is excited about incorporating her skills into her stage show when she goes on tour with her third album.

She told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “I’ve actually started some aerial work myself. I was on tour with Katy Perry last year and she had quite a few aerial artists.

“A couple of them were from Cirque du Soleil so it kind of inspired me, and I’ve started my own rope, which I’ve had a few goes on, and I’m not too bad.

“It’s a lot of upper-body strength, so I’m enjoying having a new hobby.”

When asked if she plans to incorporate it into her tour, Becky said: “I’d like to do a little bit.”

Pink is renowned for her aerial work at her concerts but Becky admitted hers will be a little more “sultry”.

She said: “I want to do it a little bit more sultry than that. But yeah, I have started rope specifically.”

Meanwhile, Becky is currently hard at work on her upcoming third album and teased that her fans are in for a surprise.

She said: “It’s going to be a very different project this year, so I’m very excited. I want to bring rock ’n’ roll back to dance music. We used to have rock stars in dance music.

“Dance is a bit flat at the minute. I’m just trying to get all my stuff in order. I’m writing the album and hopefully I’ll get cracking this year.”
