Bastille are back with their first new music in three years in SAVE MY SOUL

Bastille have released their first new song in three years, SAVE MY SOUL.

The track emerged during rehearsals for their recent From All Sides UK arena tour, when the band began writing together again.

Premiered on the opening night of the tour, the song quickly became a standout moment, with fans responding strongly to its chorus. It was performed throughout the nine-date run, drawing some of the loudest reactions alongside the band’s breakthrough hit Pompeii.

Frontman Dan Smith explained: “We hadn’t really thought of working on new music, but SAVE MY SOUL came about from us all hanging out and rehearsing for these gigs recently. We’ve really loved playing it at these shows and are really excited to be releasing something new. It’s been a while.”

Musically, the single recalls elements of Bastille’s Wild World era, pairing anthemic production with lyrics that explore vulnerability and connection.

The From All Sides tour saw Bastille play sold-out arena shows across nine UK cities. The setlist combined highlights from their career with newer material, signalling the band’s next chapter while celebrating more than a decade of music.

Meanwhile, Bastille were recently confirmed to be among the headliners for Alex James’ Big Feastival.

Taking place from August 28 to 30, 2026, on the Blur bassist’s picturesque farm in Kingham, The Cotswolds, the family-friendly festival promises a vibrant mix of live music, top-tier culinary talent, and entertainment for all ages.

Dance music legends Basement Jaxx will launch the festivities on Friday night, bringing their high-octane blend of house, big beat, and electronic pop to the main stage. Known for iconic tracks like Romeo, Rendez-Vu, and Where’s Your Head At, the BRIT and GRAMMY-winning duo are set to deliver a euphoric opening set.

Saturday belongs to The Streets, with Mike Skinner performing his seminal 2004 album A Grand Don’t Come for Free in full. The chart-topping record, which includes era-defining singles such as Fit But You Know It and Dry Your Eyes, remains a cornerstone of UK music culture.

Closing out the weekend on Sunday, Bastille will take the reins for a rousing finale. Since their breakthrough with Bad Blood and the global hit Pompeii, the band have become festival favourites, known for their cinematic sound and crowd-pleasing choruses.
