Bad magicians taking over BGT

Ant and Dec say ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ has been taken over by bad magicians.
After Richard Jones became the first ever illusionist to win the show last year, a number of copy-cats have been trying their luck during this year’s auditions, but hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are not impressed.
Dec told the Daily Mirror: ""We got a lot of magicians. It is that thing where whatever act won the year before, you get a glut of. There are too many bad ones.
"We always ask that question before they go on, ‘A magician won last year, are you better?’ and it’s buzzer, buzzer, buzzer. There was a lot of close-up magic and I don’t think lightning is gonna strike twice."
Despite the disappointing magicians, the pair have been having a ball filming the latest series of the ITV show and have been living the high-life on show boss Simon Cowell’s private jet.
Ant said: "We travelled on Simon’s private jet this year. I tried to eat my own body weight in sandwiches because I knew Simon was paying for it.
"I don’t think I made much of a dent in his pocket really."
Simon is joined on the judging panel by Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and David Walliams and Ant and Dec have been spending more time with the judges than ever before.
Ant explained: "Before, it was us backstage and them at the front, but we made a conscious effort to hang out with the judges more and had a right good laugh."
