Baby Ariel’s acting challenge

Baby Ariel admits it was a "challenge" to shoot her debut movie ‘Bixler High Private Eye’ for Nickelodeon.
The 17-year-old social media megastar – real name Ariel Rebecca Martin – bagged herself a role as Kenzie on the channel’s yet-to-be-released TV movie and she loved taking her talents from online to the camera.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, Ariel said: "My Nickelodeon movie is coming out next year and is about two kid detectives who are trying to find one of their fathers in this small town.
"It’s crazy, I’ve been acting and singing my entire life and it’s different because I’m able to do it at a larger scale, people have been wonderful and made me feel very comfortable and creatively really comfortable. I wouldn’t say it was easy but my character is passionate and is a structured person so it is logical that we share the same inner emotions like the passion and hard work but the way we express that is different so that was more of a challenge."
Ariel can’t wait for her fans "to meet" her character Kelsie – who she plays alongside mystery solving student Jace Norman – because it was such a "dream come true" to play.
Baby Ariel started out on the lipsync app Musical.ly, which is now known as Tik Tok, and has since grown into a social media sensation with three million YouTube subscribers and 9.1 million followers on Instagram.
She has most recently teamed up with ‘The Sims 4’ to be featured as a character on their ‘Get Famous’ edition.
Baby Ariel was speaking at The Sims 4 Sims Camp to celebrate The Sims 4 Get Famous Expansion Pack, available to pre-order NOW ahead of its release on the 16th of November.
