Guns N’ Roses’ Axl Rose threatened to quit the band in front of a Rolling Stones crowd in October 1989.
The ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ hitmakers opened their first of four nights supporting the British rockers at the L.A. Coliseum, and the singer revealed he was not happy with his bandmates and was contemplating jacking it all in unless they changed their ways.
He fumed: ‘I hate to do this on stage. but I tried every other f***ing way. And unless certain people in this band get their sh*t together, these will be the last Guns N’ Roses shows you’ll f***ing ever see…’
