Ashley Roberts has nightmares about The Jump

Ashley Roberts has nightmares about ‘The Jump’.
The 35-year-old singer appeared on the winter sports programme last year and has admitted she has been left traumatised by the show, which almost resulted in her having a panic attack on a recent ski trip after she slid into a bobsleigh and had to jump out of the claustrophobic sled within minutes because it brought back bad memories of the competition.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, the blonde beauty – who was eliminated after the second week in the competition – said: "I went to Park City, Utah, and I went snow mobiling, I went skiing, and I do actually have a bobsleigh. I went to bobsleigh at the Olympic grounds in Park City, which was funny when I got in it, but I started having flash backs of ‘The Jump’ and I thought ‘Oh my gosh, I’m done. Get me out.’"
And the star has vowed never to return to the show again for an all-star special.
When asked if she would be take to the slopes again, she said: "I would probably pass on that. I enjoy keeping my feet in my skis and just casually going down the mountain, that’s what I prefer. No I will not be on any return appearances of ‘The Jump’".
However, despite this, the former The Pussycat Dolls band member is glad she came away with the ability to ski and made "solid friendships" with fellow contestants Stacey Solomon.
She explained: "That is one thing I did gain from the show, I didn’t know how to ski and so now I can really go and enjoy these ski trips, so I’m grateful for that. It’s crazy I’m looking at my Timehop and I see like me and Stacey together, those were some good memories, I really made some solid memories out of that. I’ve really made some solid friendships out of that. Me and Stacey are really solid friends.
"But you do really rely on your friendships, if I didn’t have the friendships that I had while I was there, I wouldn’t have been able to get through it. We really made each other giggle and have a good time in between things.
"If they are getting along that’s great, that will help them get through it for sure."
And Ashley is "nervous" for this year’s competitors ahead of the skeleton challenge on Sunday (19.02.17).
She said: "I’m nervous for them, but I wish them well.
"I didn’t like the skeleton, so that was really hard."
