Ashlee Simpson is working on new music

Ashlee Simpson is working on new music with her husband Evan Ross.
The 32-year-old beauty has revealed that she and her husband of two years, Evan, have recently been in the recording studio working on an album.
She explained: "We’re working on an album together. So in the new year, that will be happening! It’s been really fun to work together."
And Ashley – who has a 16-month-old daughter called Jagger with her husband – has insisted she loves working with Evan, who she started dating in 2013.
The pop star told Us Weekly: "This way we can tour together! I’m definitely excited. I love working with my husband."
Evan also revealed he loves working with his wife, saying it gives the couple an opportunity to "hang out".
He shared: "When you work separately, you don’t get to hang out – so this works out well."
Ashlee, who also shares an eight-year-old son called Bronx with her ex-husband Pete Wentz, confirmed that she intends to release a new solo album in the not-too-distant future.
The ‘Pieces of Me’ singer said: "We’re doing this album together and then we’ll go off and do our own."
Despite having not released a solo album since ‘Bittersweet World’ in 2008, Evan claimed that Ashlee’s passion for music has never subsided.
He said: "I don’t think she ever really stopped. Music is something so important to both of us. So we’ll release this album and then she’ll work on hers."
