Ant McPartlin’s cheeky new I’m A Celeb promo

Ant McPartlin will mark his return to ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ with a cheeky new promo.
The 43-year-old TV presenter was replaced by Holly Willoughby last year when he took a break from the show to deal with his alcohol issues after a drink-driving conviction but he has now reunited with partner Declan Donnelly and the pair have filmed a funny new promotional clip, called ‘Two Men And A Boat’, to mark his return.
The short clip sees the pair set sail for Australia – where the show is filmed – but they get lost due to bad weather. The promo follows their journey before they eventually make their way to Australia, for Ant to resume presenting duties alongside Dec, 43.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: "The boys are in a boat which has got lost on the way to Oz, it ends up going through all sorts of different continents and they get bombarded by bad weather, snow, rain, blistering sunshine and everything in between – before finally make their way to Australia in time to host the show.
"It’s a big and very expensive set-up with masses of special effects, but they wanted it to be right — especially for Ant’s return."
The insider went on to praise Holly for being a "fantastic" stand-in but added that the plan was always for Ant to return.
Meanwhile, the show’s creative director Richard Cowles previously insisted the ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here’ team are "looking forward" to welcoming Ant back on the show.
He said: "We love what Holly did, but we’re very much looking forward to Ant coming back and I think it’s going to be an amazing series. I think the job is for us to create a series and cast where everyone wants to come back and watch more, so I’m not worried."
And Dec previously admitted he didn’t want another man to replace Ant on the show so Holly was the perfect replacement.
He shared: "As always I’m incredibly excited to be heading to Oz for ‘I’m A Celebrity’. It is obviously tinged with sadness that Ant won’t be coming this year, I’m going to really miss him, but it’s only for one series and he’ll be back stronger next year. I didn’t want to host this series with another guy so Holly was top of my list."
