Anna Williamson for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

Anna Williamson gets approached for ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ "every year."
The 34-year-old television presenter has admitted bosses of the creepy-crawly show reach out to her management when the new series comes around every year and, although she’s desperate to do it, her schedule doesn’t always match up.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she said: "There’s always talks every year. There’s always a conversation that’s had, the feelers are put out, particularly ‘I’m A Celebrity…’
"I love that show because for me it’s a really lovely combination I think. I like the competition side of things as well so far me it brings the – it’s like I’m a knockout, I’m an ex-kids TV presenter as well. I spent ten years of my life with custard pies in my face and having to do challenges and win prizes, so for me it kind of brings together all of my experiences in TV over the years into one show. Which is why why the show in particular is a real box-ticker for me."
And, although she’s desperate to join the programme this year, Anna – who is just weeks away from giving birth to her first child – doesn’t think it would be fair on her newborn.
She said: "I don’t know if I would be able to do it with the baby this year if I’m honest. I’d love to do the show but I guess it’s not something I’d be able to think about until I’ve had the baby. It would be something that I would consider but obviously I would put my baby’s needs first so if it was that close this year then it wouldn’t be fair on the baby to leave the baby, even with my husband for a week, it wouldn’t be the kindest thing in my opinion I’m not knocking anyone who does do that. Maybe next year."
