America Ferrera gives birth

America Ferrera has given birth to a baby boy.
The ‘Ugly Betty’ star took to Instagram on Tuesday (29.05.18) to reveal she has become a mother for the first time after she and her husband Ryan Piers Williams welcomed a son named Sebastian – or Baz for short – into the world.
Posting a picture of her son’s foot which she held in her hands, the 34-year-old actress wrote: "When 2 become 3… Welcome Sebastian Piers Williams – aka Baz! Mom, Dad, and Baby are happy, healthy and totally in love! (sic)"
The ‘Superstore’ actress admitted back in March she "couldn’t wait" to meet her tot after holding her baby shower, which was planned by her pal Elsa Marie Collins and held at Beauty & Essex, Los Angeles.
America captioned a series of behind-the-scenes photos of the bash: "No poopie diaper games here. Just dancing, drinking (water for me [smiley face]), and some of the people we love to celebrate the little human we can’t wait to meet [sic]"
The actress and her spouse may have already settled on a moniker for their tot, but it comes after America revealed she didn’t want to name her baby after "a land mass or an idea", as she doesn’t want her tot to face criticism – like she did – while growing up.
She said: "I don’t want my child to be named after a land mass or idea.
"I love my name now but growing up with the name America is not easy. I don’t want to put that on my child because I know what that feels like so I’m going to go with something that is more a name."
The new arrival comes just weeks before the couple’s wedding anniversary on June 27, where they will celebrate seven years of marriage after tying the knot back in 2011.
