Amanda Barrie reveals night terrors including naked Dancing On Ice dream

Amanda Barrie has suffered nightmares about being naked on ‘Dancing On Ice’.
The 84-year-old actress – who hasn’t actually taken part in the ITV figure skating show – used to suffer from night terrors which left her unable to sleep.
Joking about the scary moments on ITV’s ‘Lorraine’, she laughed: "Stark naked doing ‘Dancing On Ice’ or something…"
However, she admitted the terrors were genuinely frightening and she would wake up screaming in the middle of the night.
She added: "I had a period waking up in the night going, ‘Argh!’ It is a ‘Psycho’ meets ‘The Truman Show.’ "
The former ‘Coronation Street’ star – who played Alma Halliwell on the ITV soap for two decades – opened up on the morning show alongside her wife Hilary Bonner.
Author Hilary has taken inspiration from her partner’s terrors for her own crime novels, and said: "One day I’d been woken up in the night with Amanda screaming.
"Dreams are a mystery. They are often theatrical dreams."
Earlier this year, Amanda thanked the London ambulance service after they came to her rescue when she electrocuted herself in her own home.
She tweeted: "Thankyou to my five heroes. So, last night I lit up the West End by electrocuting myself in my own flat. Eek! Magnificant #FirstResponders came to my rescue. Very scary but am still here, thanks also to @uclh God bless the @NHSuk (sic)"
Several supporters took to the social media site to express their delight that the former cobbles favourite escaped injury, including ‘Only Fools and Horses’ star John Challis.
He wrote: "Amanda Barrie! What are you like?! So happy you are unharmed.XX (sic)"
As well as being a Weatherfield wonder, Amanda was also known for appearing in two of the ‘Carry On’ films, ‘Carry On Cabby’ and ‘Carry On Cleo’.
One imaginative Twitter user wrote: "Carry on Sparky (sic)"
