Aaron Chalmers wins debut MMA fight

‘Geordie Shore’s Aaron Chalmers emerged victorious on his MMA debut.
The tattooed hunk defeated welterweight opponent Greg Jenkins in just over two minutes at the Genting Arena in Birmingham on Friday (12.05.17).
The gracious winner took to Twitter after his fight, to pay tribute to his opponent.
He wrote: "Just want to say a massive thank you @Jenkins92Greg took the fight on less than 3 weeks notice and accepted the higher weight. Much respect (sic)."
And Greg tweeted: "Gutted about tonight he was just too heavy on top with the last minute weight change but @AaronCGShore you won fair & square well done mate.
"respect mate you won fair and square, your a top lad, all the hype from before the fight is over now I wish you all the best (sic)."
Aaron also shared a picture with his family on Instagram and wrote: "Support from family is everything!! Couldn’t do what I do with out these in my life!! Thanks for making the journey but now lets get p****d (sic)."
Meanwhile, Aaron split from ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star Lauren Pope in January after eight months of dating but admitted he doesn’t feel their relationship is truly over.
He said recently: "We’ve had to leave it at the minute because of the distance and our work commitments. It just wasn’t the right time. We speak every day … We have to leave it for now, but you never know what could happen in the future. She’s a cracking girl."
He also had an on/off relationship with ‘Geordie Shore’ co-star Marnie Simpson.
Speaking about filming together, he said: "Me and Marnie don’t really speak … When me and Marnie are speaking, she’s one of my best friends."
