Aaron Chalmers dating Lauren Pope for 8 months

Aaron Chalmers has been dating Lauren Pope for eight months.
The ‘Geordie Shore’ hunk has lashed out at his ex-girlfriend Marnie Simpson after she claimed his romance with the former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ beauty was "weird" because she’s also dated her on/off boyfriend Lewis Bloor – who the brunette star met in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ and has been romancing ever since – in the past.
Taking to his Twitter account on Thursday (05.01.17), he said: "So apparently it’s WEIRD that me and Lauren are dating even though we met back in may and have been texting ever since!! well before CBB
"What’s WEIRD is just because your set up showmance only lasted 6 month which everyone could see straight through btw don’t hate on me (sic)."
However, it seems Lauren isn’t as willing to share details on her love life as Aaron is, as she recently admitted that she couldn’t handle the long distance between them.
She told BANG Showbiz recently: "I won’t be down here in Devon forever, I will be back in London next year. But at the moment, I think you’ve got to be quite selfish in life and with work being stressful enough as it is, I don’t want to have that guilt of having to see people that you can’t and then feeling bad about it. So I just felt it was better to end it on good terms. We’re OK, we’re still friendly. I think people kind of over exaggerated it anyway, he wasn’t my boyfriend, we were only seeing each other. I’m a very laid back person so if it works, it works and if it doesn’t, it doesn’t."
