Andrea Faustini plans move to the UK

The X Factor’s Andrea Faustini is planning a permanent move to the UK.

The Italian crooner – who is one of the favourites to win the ITV talent show this year – has revealed he plans to leave his family home in Rome in order to pursue a music career in England, whether he’s successful on the show or not.

He said: "I love this country and I want to move here. Even if I don’t win the show I’ll still release music in the UK.

"That’s what I want to do with my life. I wasn’t to make a soul and gospel record. I chose to come here because I wanted to – I want to be here."

And the 20-year-old star in the making – who dropped out of the Italian ‘X Factor’ to fulfil his dream of coming to Britain – isn’t worried about being the only foreign contestant on the show.

He explained to the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: "I tried with the Italian X Factor three times. I didn’t get to sing for the judges. But this year I got there and got four yesses.

"But then I got four yesses from the UK judges so I had to make a choice. My choice was the British X Factor.

"I feel like my heart and my passion is here. And I felt like the British show could help me be the singer I want to be."

Andrea added: "Music has no nationality.

"The British audience has been loving me. I’m happy and glad about that. It’s all I’ve ever wanted."
