Donna Air is "thrilled" that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting another baby.
The 34-year-old actress – who has been romantically linked to Catherine’s brother James Middleton – is overjoyed for the couple, who got married in 2011, after they announced the happy news earlier this week.
Speaking to the Daily Telegraph newspaper, Donna gushed: "I think the whole nation is thrilled."
William and Catherine, who already have 14-month-old son Prince George together, made the announcement on Monday (08.09.14) after the brunette beauty was forced to pull out of her visit to Oxford University because she was suffering severe morning sickness.
Duchess Catherine also had to miss the opening ceremony and the first day of the Invictus Games on Wednesday (10.09.14) and Thursday (11.09.14) because she was still battling the pregnancy symptom.
She is currently being cared for by doctors at Kensington Palace in London but it is not yet known whether she’ll be able to carry out her first official solo overseas tour to Malta on September 20.
A spokesperson for the palace said in a statement yesterday: "The Duchess’s attendance on the forthcoming visit to Malta will be kept under review and a decision taken closer to the time."
