Tyla eyes PinkPantheress collab as she gushes over working with Zara Larsson

Tyla is already eyeing her next dream collaboration — and PinkPantheress is at the top of the list — as she reflects on how naturally her partnership with Zara Larsson came together.

Speaking on the red carpet at Billboard Women in Music 2026 at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on Wednesday (29.04.26), the Grammy winner said she instantly clicked with her She Did It Again duet partner from the moment they stepped into the studio.

Asked what she liked the most about working with the Midnight Sun hitmaker, she replied: “Everything.

“Honestly, like when we did it, like at first we went to the studio with her and we were listening to both of our music.

“She was laying on the floor. We were like vibing and music video time — it was like I was shooting with my friend. So I don’t know, I feel like [it] just fell into place.”

Tyla added that the pair’s personalities meshed instantly: “She’s also just like, she feels like me in a different font. Like we just go together. So yeah, it was really fun.”

With that collaboration now out in the world, Tyla says she’s already thinking ahead — and Boys a Liar star PinkPantheress is the next artist she wants to experiment with.

She said: “I think PinkPantheress.

“I like her production, would want to play with it.”

She Did It Again is the second single from Tyla’s eagerly awaited second studio album, A*Pop, due July 24.

Fans have also heard the tracks Is It and Chanel.

A full track-listing is yet to be revealed.

Tyla has, however, teased that fans can expect the follow-up her acclaimed 2024 self-titled debut to be “unapologetic” and “fun”.

On the vibrant trailer, words flash up that read: “A*POP dance, African, unapologetic, fun, for you, for me, confident, global.”
