Joel Corry has been working in the studio with Kylie Minogue.
The 34-year-old DJ revealed that he has collaborated with ‘Spinning Around’ legend Kylie, 55, in the studio and teased that he has got some “bangers” coming out in time for the summer.
He told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “I’ve just been in the studio with Kylie recently in LA – the Queen. I’ve got some bangers on the way. They say that I defrost for summer and the freezer has opened!”
The ‘Sorry’ hitmaker – who rose to prominence in 2019 and released his debut album ‘Another Friday Night’ in 2023 – recently explained that he loves “experimenting” with his music and staying “ahead of the trend”.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column, he said: “My latest song ‘0800 Heaven’ with Nathan Dawe and Ella Henderson is like 140bpm, it’s almost like a trance record, so very different to sorry which came out four or five years ago. I enjoy evolving, experimenting, and staying ahead of the trends.
“And the new song on the album ‘Hey DJ’ is definitely in that sort of trance lane as well – it’s been going off so much in my DJ sets.”
The BRIT Award-winning star also revealed that he likes to work out to his own music when he is in the gym because it stops him “thinking about it” too much.
Speaking during an Instagram Live, he said: “I actually like listening to music that I’m working on when I’m in the gym because when you listen to it in the studio, it’s almost like you’re thinking about it too much.
“When you listen to it in other environments, you actually hear what needs to be changed or tweaked!”
