JLS eye up dream Las Vegas residency

JLS are eyeing up a dream Las Vegas residency.

The ‘Take a Chance on Me’ hitmakers would love to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Boyz II Men by setting up camp for a run of shows in Sin City.

Singer Oritse Williams told the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column: “It would be a dream come true.

“Boyz II Men and Usher did a big residency, Jodeci and New Edition too, so if JLS do it that would be pretty much the pinnacle of our group.”

While Vegas isn’t on the cards just yet, the quartet are heading back out on the road this summer for a run of outdoor shows.

Marvin Humes said: “We are so excited, it’s the first time we’ve done summer shows since 2012. [Kew Gardens] is almost a homecoming gig as well.

“There might be surprises with it being London. One big party.”

The tour will include a mix of castles and seaside towns, and the group – which also features Aston Merrygold and J.B. Gill – are looking forward to having fans of all ages coming out to the shows.

He added: “It’s the summer holidays so no doubt the families will be coming along too.”

Meanwhile, JLS hit the road for an arena tour last year and admitted they were loving travelling the country playing their songs.

Oritse told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “This arena tour has been incredible. We didn’t know what to expect having done a comeback tour only two years ago, but the reception from the fans has been amazing.

“We don’t want it to end, to be honest, but we’re glad we’ve got the opportunity to do it all over again next summer at a run of outdoor shows.”
