The ‘Gogglebox’ cast have started filming for the show’s big return.
The popular Channel 4 series will be back on air in two weeks, and boss Tania Alexander has revealed work has kicked off on the upcoming episodes.
Sharing a photo of the show’s production room – including a photo of Jenny Newby and Lee Riley laughing together – she tweeted: "Oi! Oi!
"Gogglers the gang are BACK filming #gogglebox one week from today! See you ALL on Sept 11th. (sic)"
Fan favourites Jenny and Lee have delighted viewers since the best friends made their first appearance back in 2014.
The pair even moved in together during lockdown so they could film for Channel 4 after social distancing measures made things difficult.
Meanwhile, Pete and Sophie Sandiford, Ellie and Izzi Warner and the Malone family are among those also returning for the new series.
Boss Tania previously revealed the programme would return on September 11th, as she thanked everyone for tuning into the celebrity spin off.
She wrote: "Huge THANK YOU for your kind messages re #Gogglebox and #CelebrityGogglebox. It really wasn’t easy getting this show to air every week during lockdown but ur support made it ALL worth it.
"Big shout out to the cast from both shows [love heart emoji] AND my amazing team. See y’all on Sept 11th [love heart emoji] (sic)"
There are also plans in place for a special edition of ‘Celebrity Gogglebox’ next year as part of Channel 4’s planned Black Takeover Day, which is scheduled for autumn 2021.
