Dean Gaffney breaks lockdown to attend party

Dean Gaffney broke lockdown rules to attend a lavish party.

The former ‘EastEnders’ star reportedly travelled more than 200 miles from his home to the bash in Huddersfield, despite the government banning mass gatherings to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Miss Lana Wolf – a stripper and glamour model who attended the party – shared a photo with the 42-year-old actor on her Instagram.

She captioned the image: "You know it’s been a wild weekend when you’ve fed Avatar in a jacuzzi. (sic)"

Another unnamed guest told The Sun newspaper: "It was a two-day party and day one was fancy dress. Lots of Instagram models and wannabe glamour models were invited from all over the UK."

Dean – who has played Robbie Jackson on-and-off since 1993 – attended the party after previously revealing he feared he’d caught coronavirus after losing his sense of smell and taste.

The TV star was watching the news when his symptoms were revealed to be associated with the disease.

In response, he wrote on social media: "Haven’t been able to smell or taste for days… oh s**t!!! (sic)"

Meanwhile, Dean recently suggested he could return to ‘EastEnders’ in a "couple of years".

The actor was last seen on the BBC soap in September 2019, but he said the producers have left the door open for his character to return to Albert Square.

He shared: "When I left last June, they said, ‘Come back to us in a couple of years.’

"The door is open so let’s hope they are true to their word and it happens."
