Scarlett Moffatt claims Gogglebox bosses made her look ‘thick’

Scarlett Moffatt has claimed ‘Gogglebox’ bosses made her look "thick as s**t".
The 30-year-old star – who rose to fame as she appeared on the popular Channel 4 programme from 2014 to 2016 – has hit out at producers for the way her ditzy comments were played for laughs and argued that the editing created an unfair impression of her.
Speaking on her new ‘Wants To Believe’ BBC podcast, she said: "It was actually very difficult. We used to have to watch ‘Downton Abbey’, but ten minutes of it.
"Can you imagine? I’ve never watched ‘Downton Abbey’ for a full episode and they show us ten minutes of a man bleeding from the mouth and then I’m like, ‘What’s going on? What’s happening? Who’s this?’
"It looks like I’m thick as s**t but really it’s because I genuinely don’t have a clue what’s going on. It’s like, ‘Seriously, who is this?’ Because we’ve never watched it before."
Scarlett was opening up during her new podcast with police constable boyfriend Scott Dobinson, which will see the pair debating "everything from aliens to the Illuminati to mermaids" as she looks to convince her "non-beleiver" partner that some of the conspiracies could be real.
She recently revealed: "I’m obsessed with conspiracies.
"I’m in my element on this podcast as we cover everything from aliens to the Illuminati to mermaids.
"My boyfriend Scott is a non-believer so there’s some fun arguments – sorry, debates."
Scarlett – who was crowned Queen of the Jungle on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ in 2016 – teased that she and beau get in some "fun debates" on the podcast.
