Lyndon Ogbourne welcomes baby boy

Lyndon Ogbourne has welcomed son Jack River into the world.
The former ‘Emmerdale’ actor – who appeared on the ITV soap as bad boy Nathan Wylde from 2009 to 2010 – revealed the wonderful news in a series of posts on Instagram as he paid tribute to both his newborn baby and his partner Marina.
He wrote: "Jack River Ogbourne, 03.02.2020…
"Marina, I didn’t realise I could fall deeper in love with you, but I have…
"You’ve brought us an actual angel. Thank you overwhelmed by the stars."
The 36-year-old star – whose former cast mate Adam Thomas ‘liked’ his post – also shared a number of sweet photos with his son and partner on his Instagram Story.
Before appearing on ‘Emmerdale’, Lyndon appeared in spy drama ‘Spooks’, BBC’s adaptation of ‘Robin Hood’ and medical soap ‘Doctors’, and in 2011 he toured the UK in a stage production of Agatha Christie’s ‘The Verdit’.
When he departed the soap in 2010, he teased the possibility of a return for his character – which is yet to materialise – as he revealed he’s had "great fun" on set.
He said at the time: "Emmerdale has been such an incredible experience for me and the final act of the Wyldes’ drama will be so gripping…
"I’ve had great fun and learned so much from creating one of the most love-to-hate Emmerdale characters. But my personal ambition and excitement for future projects has led me to feel this is the right time to leave.
"But I believe this won’t be the last you’ve seen of devilish Nathan Wylde."
